Another goodbye post...

Well...we've all been wondering how to break this to the next person, but Jamie and Ruthie, the youth leaders at our church, are moving an hour away by the end of the week. All of a sudden. So

The good

This is definitely God's will and God's timing. They kept giving him doors that he could possibly close and he kept them open.
We all wish we could've known this a little earlier, like the beginning of the summer...? But if we had known then and started looking for replacements (that seems like such a harsh word, but there you go) at the beginning of the summer, the people who are in place now wouldn't have been in place then. Just an example of how God provides, even when his ways of providing aren't ours.
Another good thing is that now they'll have e-mail. I would've been super sad if they wouldn't have had e-mail, cuz that's my main way of keeping up with people long distance.

The bad

We're all sad, and we're going to miss each other. Blah. I don't like thinking about "the bad" all that much, so I'll just leave it at that. Short but sweet. Haha (read it exactly like that, "haha."Not supposed to signify actual laughter), "short but sweet" might be the cliche, but in this case it should be "bitter and fortunately short."

It's kinda funny (nothing in this post that is funny is actually funny, in case you haven't noticed. It's all funny weird, not funny haha): The bad list might be a lot shorter in length, but it's a lot more deeply felt. Oh well. We've had "practice" in Jamie and Ruthie being gone before--they were in LA schoolyear before last.

It's God's will, so it'll end up good. :-)

I know this change will take some adjustment and it is sad to have Jamie and Ruthie leave. I also know though that God has good plans in store for all of you guys and gals in the youth group and you'll be amazed at how He blesses you all for staying faithful and trusting His ways to be best!
You are an awesome group of kids!
