You might want to skim this even if you read the e-mail, cuz I added some stuff.
I just finished a 4 day week of babysitting which was actually a lot of fun. I wasn't bored, which is what makes it feel like forever. The first family had a semi-sick kid (who threw up within the first two hours of my summer babysitting career, and then was just fine the rest of the time) and the second family has a new puppy--who is ADORABLE but quite a handful. She's not totally housebroken so you have to watch her every second.
We also had VBS (vacation bible school) at our church all week. I helped with crafts. It was a lot of fun. I'm just surprised I'm not totally exhausted. Actually, I am physically exhausted, but as far as internal...(what's the words I'm looking for...)emotion and energy, I'm still going strong, hallelujah :-). If you don't like kids, you do NOT want to be me. If you love kids, you want to be me. I want to be me, lol. Mom says I should be a child pyschologist after babysitting a fussy 4 yr old two days in a row.
And tonight I'm going to be up past midnight helping with an LT fundraiser. (28 days! [and 7 hours and 42 minutes]. I got a countdown-er from mugglenet.com, which is actually counting down to the release of the 6th book, which just happens to be on the same day as LT starts).
I think I'll go take a nap. Or update my blog. Or just copy this e-mail onto my blog. Or go take a nap.
Love yall!
Katie
Oh, ps, I can't forget my free day: We went shopping all day yesterday, Abby, Mom and I. Hannah was at a friend's house and was just as happy to be there. She doesn't like shopping as much as we do. I got two shirts, a cute tie belt, a new purse that I might actually use because it's cute and small, nail polish, and....uh, oh yeah, Abby and I bought two necklaces made out of, like, stone-like beads. We're splitting them. That was fun. We went to the mall first, where abby and I got nail polish (for a 1.50) and then we decided we'd rather go to the thrift store where we could actually buy the cute stuff we found. So that's where I got all the other stuff. Very fun.
About personality testing:
The only kind of personality testing we've done wasn't actually a test. It was a video about the different personalities. It had choleric(always the leader) phlegmatic (never the leader, really laid back) sanguine (think uncle Jeff (dad to me) and Abby--social butterfly, can't stop talking) and melancholy (very neat and tidy, introspective). Most people aren't only one, but mixes of them. Hannah's a melancholy-plegmatic, Mom's a melancholy choleric, Dad's a sanguine phlegmatic, and Abby's a sanguine choleric, to the best of my reconking. (or reckoning. I'm so tired. lol!) Nobldy can figure out what I am. I think I'm mostly whatever the people around me aren't. If someone else will take the lead, I'll follow them, but if nobody's taking control, I'll be happy to.

Actually, naturally, I'm a melancholy-choleric probably--or was, when I was a kid. Now...it's anybody's guess. I used to be shy and got upset if things didn't go how I wanted them to, but now I've grown out of that and am now completely opposite. I go with the flow and am no longer shy. What do yall think you are? Meg is a sanguine choleric, I think. She might disagree. But that's what I think she is. I have no clue what anyone else is. Claire might be a sanguine. Swift...no idea.
i agree, iluvccrunners. sonkid, I'd say, from what I know of u, ur a sanguine choloric. tho, I don't often see u when I'm at ur house. but that's what I say.
